WHO AM I?
But first, reflect on this question: How do you identify?
Are you creative, a leader, vital, a mom, athletic, private, curious? There are so many combos and answers to this question; however, one or two will pop up in your mind and have probably been fairly primary across the expanse of your life.
When I’m asked this question, I’ve always responded with, “I’m a creative person.” That’s it. That’s what comes to me. What came to you as you read this intro?
identity - the sun
We’ve heard a lot about identity, how we identify, and identity politics. Looking to astrology, we discover the Sun represents our identity. When we say “I,” we’re speaking from our conscious (solar) self. Self-esteem, self-confidence, and all the positive experiences and beliefs that build our sense of self—the who “I” am—are an important part of your self-development journey.
If you don’t already know, each zodiac sign has a “ruling” planet associated with it. In the case of the Sun, the blazing heart of our universe, it rules proud and regal Leo.
LUCK, EXPANSION & GROWTH — Jupiter in Leo
Stay with me on this. The lucky planet, Jupiter, is moving into the regal sign of Leo, symbolized by the majestic lioness/lion.
Since our embodied astrology conference occurs during the auspices of this fabulous period, it’s a no-brainer to unpack, explore, and ultimately embody the gifts of this combo.
Once known as Optimus Maximus—the biggest and the best—Jupiter expands and encourages growth and luck through Leo themes of creative self-expression, talent, leadership, and entertainment.
CHECK YOUR SHADE
Sounds like fun, and it is—until you bump up against that part of yourself that has learned to repress your natural, exuberant claim to being sovereign, seen, and expressing yourself. If that’s part of your safety and survival modus operandi, and you don’t always walk with your head held high, comfortable with completely owning your space, then this is where embodiment practices are so valuable.
QUEEN UP — The Workshop
Part I — The Jupiter in Leo lioness and shine workshop begins with a presentation. You’ll learn about Jupiter, how to find Jupiter in your birth chart, where it is now, and what that means for you. Expect power lady pictures, the reality of Panthera leo, this sign’s inspiration, a powerful and of course successful Queen or two (one was a Pharaoh), and why there’s every reason to Queen up.
Then we saunter into Part II — the embodiment section. Leo rules dancing, so yes, we’ll move our bodies, strike poses, and even swagger about like a lioness. Are we experiencing a guided visualization? You bet!
At the end of the day, self-confidence, self-belief, and self-love are foundations underpinning a happy and successful life. So let’s call in the spirit of Jupiter in Leo, with the power of the group, and express her in our lives.
