Conference FAQ
What is the Embodied Astrology Conference?
The Embodied Astrology Conference is a 3 day in person event weekend in Sydney, Australia. We aim to give you an avenue into astrology as a living and breathing practice, a way to learn through both ideas and lived experience.
When is the conference?
The conference takes place from 29–31 January 2027, in Crows Nest on Sydney’s North Shore.
Who is this conference for?
It’s for astrologers, students, and anyone who’s curious about astrology and wants to explore it in a more grounded, experiential way.
Do I need to be an experienced astrologer to attend?
Not at all. Whether you’re brand new or have been studying astrology for years, you’re welcome.
What can I expect from the weekend?
You can expect a mix of talks and interactive sessions in longer workshop style. There will also be opportunities to connect with others who share your love of astrology.
Will the program be available before the event?
Yes, the schedule is available now so you can plan your weekend around it.
Will sessions be recorded?
As this is an in-person, embodied event, we won’t be making any recordings.
Where is the conference being held?
The conference is being held in the Crows Nest Centre on the North Shore in Sydney, Australia.
Will there be time to meet other attendees?
Yes. We’re planning opportunities for conversation, connection, and community throughout the weekend. After the panel on Friday night, we will meet for drinks in one of the local bars. And with the workshop formats, you’ll be grouped with others to meet and connect, as well as during break times.
What should I wear? And what do i Bring?
As workshops in this conference will include movement, we suggest wearing comfortable clothes you can stretch in and shoes that can be easily removed. The usual notebook and pen are suggested, as well as a yoga mat, water bottle and snacks. Being an astrology conference, a copy of your birth chart is strongly suggested. We have teachers that work in both Whole Sign and Placidius house systems, so please bring a copy of both. If you don’t know how to create your own chart, please email your birth details (time, date and place) to embodiedastrologyconference@gmail.com before 25 January and we’ll provide it for you.
Are food and drinks included?
No, food and drink won’t be provided by us, but we chose Crows Nest as it has a wonderful array of options for food and coffee all weekend. Have a look at our food and accommodation guide below to find out more.
Accessiblity FAQ
Does the venue offer accessibility options?
The Crows Nest Centre offers ramp access, lift access, wheelchair access, and accessible toilets. If you have any questions about access, mobility, or support needs, please get in touch before booking so we can make sure we can support you attending with ease.
Is there public transport nearby?
Yes, Crows Nest is accessible via either the Metro or bus, depending on where you are coming from.
Metro – it’s just a 6 minutes walk to the venue from the Crows Nest Metro station. On the same line as Chatswood, Victoria Cross (North Sydney) and a number of City stops (including Barangaroo, Martin Place and Central), it’s the easiest way from most places. More information on the Metro is here.
Bus - For those travelling from other places on the North Shore, bus routes are listed here.
Are there options for parking?
Parking is available in any of the four Council operated parking stations nearby. All offer early bird parking Monday to Friday. All have two hours free parking, then charges after that. The Holtermann Street carpark, next to the Centre, has free parking all day Sunday. Metered 2 hour parking is also available in streets around the Crows Nest Centre.
For more information, please visit the North Sydney Council's website.
Accomodation Options
While there are no hotels in Crows Nest itself, there are a few options on Stayz and AirBNB. Quest Serviced Apartments in St Leonards has been recommended as an easy nearby option, just an 8-minute walk away.
You could look to North Sydney and Chatswood for a range of hotels or serviced apartments, and both are just a 5 min Metro ride away from Crows Nest. For those wanting to enjoy city life, hotels in Sydney’s CBD are also very accessible, at about 10 minutes by Metro, and tend to have deals on weekends.
Eating Options
There is a wide range of cafes, restaurants, and bars to choose from around Crows Nest. Some recommendations include:
Bean Drinking.
Grill’d Burgers.
Arashi Sushi Counter.
The Stoned Crow.
Bravo Trattoria.
Yakatori Yurippi.
There is also a park space out the front where you can enjoy a packed lunch from home or food purchased from Woolworths or Coles.
